Children ages 5 to 18 are eligible. No insurance needed. Vision To Learn can provide one eye exam every 10 months.
We kindly ask you to arrive 5 minutes early to your appointment to complete paperwork.
Your appointment may have a possible wait time. Your patience is appreciated.
If prescribed, your child’s glasses will be provided at the library about 3 to 4 weeks later on a date that will be shared with you.

About the branch
About Ropkins Library...
In May 1995, the Ropkins Branch and the S.A.N.D. Everywhere School library merged. A new 5,600 square foot state-of-the-art facility opened in December 1998. In March 2023, the Ropkins Branch reopened following a renovation. It now houses the Hartford History Center Annex.
The renovated branch is open to the community.
Ropkins is open Monday-Thursday from 10am-5pm.
