In this interactive youth program, participants explore the history of spices through smell, storytelling, and art. Using the book 'Anni Dreams of Biryani', students make connections between food, culture, and personal experiences, then create a spice-inspired collage to express what they’ve learned.

The Barbour Branch library is located in the Northeast section of the City of Hartford in Unity Plaza. The branch opened in October 1927 at 572 Windsor Street and since 2014, the Barbour Branch is currently located at 261 Barbour Street.
