The Hartford Business Resource CenterHPL STUDIOS presents a roundtable for writers to share ideas and material from their feature, short film, web series, sketch or scripted audio project with peers. Hosted by a veteran TV writer.
Details
A free, weekly roundtable open to anyone in the Hartford area who writes scripted media. It's a place to share work, from nascent ideas in need of brainstorming and suggestions; a script draft for peer feedback; a selection from a script you'd like to table read and discuss.
This is not a screenwriting class... It's a chance for writers to feed off each other's ideas and energy, helping everyone improve.
Moderator:
Aaron Hilliard, HPL Studios General Manager, is a longtime TV comedy and drama writer/producer (HBO, Amazon, CBS, FOX), and scripted audio commissioning executive for Audible Studios. He has over two decades of experience developing scripted work, breaking story, and editing fellow writers to bring out their best work.

Hartford Public Library’s history spans more than 235 years. We can trace its very beginnings to the Library Company, formally organized in 1774 by a few subscribers to purchase a "collection of useful and religious books". And now, the library is a national leader in redefining the urban public library in the 21st century as an innovative and stimulating place where people can learn and discover, explore their passions, and find a rich array of resources that contribute to a full life.
