Join us for this 8 part lecture series on the history of Jazz.
Professor Haneef N. Nelson-Jazz Trumpet/Jazz History/Hip Hop History/Jazz Ensemble Professor at UMASS-Amherst; WestConn; and University of Rhode Island, is a Connecticut Resident who has graduated from the University of Hartford (Bachelor's Degree), UMass Amherst (Master's Degree) and is the process of obtaining his Doctorate from the University of Hartford will be teaching a class on unsung legends in Jazz from around the world as well as talk about a broad history of the Hartford Jazz Scene.
