Story time and 2 crafts: kids will draw symbols onto bookmarks to use with the book. “Quilt” making craft with sheets of paper that kids will glue together and create their own Adinkra symbols on.
Copies of the book will be given to families and information on the Adinkra symbols will be shared.

The Barbour Branch library is located in the Northeast section of the City of Hartford in Unity Plaza. The branch opened in October 1927 at 572 Windsor Street and since 2014, the Barbour Branch is currently located at 261 Barbour Street.
