A strong resume opens doors. This free career workshop is designed specifically for food service professionals — helping you highlight your ServSafe certifications, kitchen experience, and transferable skills in a way that catches employers' attention.
What you will do
- Learn the key elements of a food service resume
- Present your ServSafe certifications effectively
- Frame your experience — including gaps in employment
- Draft or update your own resume during the session
- Get ready to share your resume with employers
What to bring
- Any existing resume, if you have one — or notes on your work history
- Your ServSafe certification information
Session format
- Single session, Tuesday or Thursday evening, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Hartford Public Library Central Branch (500 Main Street).
This program is free and open to:
- Hartford residents
- Those working in Hartford
- Anyone opening a Hartford food service-related business
- Participants must be authorized to work in the United States
- Hartford Public Library ServSafe Program Participants
