Join The Children’s Museum for a series of hands-on STEAM programs to investigate winter. Discover the reason for the seasons, conduct experiments, meet live animals and more! Registration required.

Join The Children’s Museum for a series of hands-on STEAM programs to investigate winter this February break. Discover the reason for the seasons, conduct icy experiments, meet live animals from The Museum’s Wildlife Sanctuary and learn about their cold weather adaptations, build a den to hibernate inside, and so much more! These programs are designed for children ages 6-12 and their caregiver. Registration required.

About the branch

The Barbour Branch library is located in the Northeast section of the City of Hartford in Unity Plaza. The branch opened in October 1927 at 572 Windsor Street and since 2014, the Barbour Branch is currently located at 261 Barbour Street.
